Site Waste Solutions Team Gears Up for Pretty Muddy 2024 in Support of Cancer Research UK

Four members of our Site Waste Solutions division here at Insite Group, are lacing up their trainers and preparing to get muddy for a fantastic cause! Lisa, Jacqueline, Leeanne, and Tamzin will be taking part in Pretty Muddy, a 5k obstacle course race held at Strathclyde Country Park on Saturday, June 15th, 2024.

This event is part of Race for Life, a series of fundraising events in aid of Cancer Research UK, the UK's largest charity dedicated to funding research into all aspects of cancer.

The team's participation holds a special significance for Leeanne, whose Gran is currently battling Stage 4 Oesophageal cancer. They are dedicating their race to her and hope to raise as much money as possible to support Cancer Research UK's vital work in finding better treatments and cures for the disease.

Team Spirit and Support

Chris McLean, Operations Director and Founder of Site Waste Solutions, expressed his immense pride in his team's initiative.

"We're incredibly proud of Lisa, Jacqueline, Leeanne, and Tamzin for taking on this challenge," he said. "

Their dedication and commitment to supporting such a worthy cause are truly inspiring. We'll be cheering them on every step of the way!"

Following up on that Scott McMillan, Managing Director of Insite Group, echoed Chris's sentiment and highlighted the importance of Cancer Research UK's work.

"Cancer Research UK plays a crucial role in advancing cancer research and improving the lives of those affected by the disease,"

Scott stated.

"We fully support the team's participation in Pretty Muddy and are incredibly proud of their efforts to raise funds for this essential cause."
